Does anyone know how a Geiger Counter works with ghost hunting? Need to find out what the Geiger Counter detects, what will change how to read the thing etc......Any help is appreciated!

How effective are Geiger counters in the field for catching something that could be considered paranormal in your opinion? I am very excited to find someone who knows how to use this thing!

Thanks! I have this very large yellow 1960's something Geiger counter. Thought it would be fun to try out but have no idea at all how to work the silly thing. I am not sure what normal readings are supposed to be and if there is a reading should I even be sitting in that room! Risk being radiated to death

I am sure I will figure it out once I sit and play with it a little bit.

GEIGER COUNTER  This device measures Alpha, Beta, Gamma and X-ray radiation and like other devices of this type, searches for fluctuations in radiation which will point to a disturbance in spirit energy.

I copied that of a website that sells ghost hunting equipment.
