OK, guys! We've got some exciting news to share. Things are coming along nicely for us. In addition to the places I'm trying to get set up, we've got our buddy group SIGHT Paranormal getting us out there on some investigations. But W-I-P-S is also getting a kick up in the technical department. Chris and I just dropped a few bucks on a nice security camera system to help set up still cams in unmanned rooms that we want to cover the entire duration of our investigation! We purchased it from a seller on E-Bay, brand new, and it does have night vision capability so we can use this in our "lights out" mode. This was a heft drop of cash for the both of us, but it is a good start - which I'm sure we'll upgrade as we become more established. In any case, it comes with everything we need to get started: 14" QUAD view monitor, 4 I/R cameras, 4 - 60 foot cables for cameras, and all connectors and other necessary "stuff". This is very exciting to us, so I hope you guys will be too.Obviously, Chris and I are taking quite a financial burden to get the group up and running, so keep any donations coming that you can - that will help us big time for any future equipment we purchase for the group. Your actions will be noted! Also, donations can be given in the form of supplies for the group as well, if you so desire. Some suggestions (but not limited to these) are: a battery back up power strip for our equipment, extra (longer) cables for the security equipment - 100' or so each, extension cords, power strips, first aid kit, motion sensors... and obviously if you can think of anything else we can use. I'm working on a good deal for a few rechargable walkie-talkies for us, and at least one equipment case that I found a good dealer for online. It's actually a hardshell camera equipment case, but will work perfectly for what we are needing!Anyways, I'll stop the pity play right now - we just wanted to share the great news with you!! Don't forget to let me know if you can make it out on October 1 with the other group. I'm working on another location for our own private investigations - as well as a training date at a private home is in the works now. I'll let you know details soon!Erica
