Okay so I've been out to Bloods Point Road twice now. Its located in Cherry Valley about 45 minutes from here. Now this might be an Urban Legend or what not, but still gave me some chills. Supposedly a ghost car is suppose to run you off this road. I was driving up the raod on a part that gets pretty hilly looking for this mysterious ghost car not putting much stock in what had to be said about the whole ordeal. As I'm driving over these hills I notice a car ahead of me maybe about a half a mile as the hills dip and come back up. As I come up I notice the car pull over and I wasn't really jumping to the conclusion that it was a ghost car or anyhting, as I get within about a hundred feet it turns off its lights. The thing that threw me off was it pulled over in the middle of nowhere not in front of a house or anyhthing. Just as I pass it with about a hundred feet between us it throws on its brights and pulls out. Needless to say I dropped the car into 4th and got the hell out of there. The second time I come back and try this bridge story that supposedly a bus of kids fell off and died and if you put your car in neutral you are pushed to the other side. Well as I was sitting on the bridge nothing was happening and I look in the distance there is a semi which looks stagnant. So after feeling like a moron and the urging ( who by this time I made sure she knew the story )of my gf to get a go on I start towards this semi that is sitting at a stop sign. As I approach it it turns off its lights and agian that was enough for me I got the hell out of there. This road is also supposedly protected by a ghost big rig. lol. I don't know if this was any real haunitings or anything, but enough to gimme he chills.

Hey ghost hunting is pretty sweet and I've gone out on some solo missions and seen some odd stuff on film.

Okay, thanks for clearing up on where it was.  Bull Valley always just comes to mind first with that . . and there are so many urban legends going around about Bull Valley anyway . . . .

Yea as I said maybe more so local urban legend at hand then true paranormal activity, I just enjoyed a good fright. Probably people that live within the vacintiy and know the folklore of it, just scaring off people trying to get near BL PT Road or the cemetery on it. Its not in Bull Valley which I had first thought with Cherry Valley Road and all, but its just outside Rockford between 176 and I-90. The bridge does go over train tracks as well. I'll think of some other haunts if I can.

Hmmm is this by any chance near Bull Valley or no?  I have not been on that road, I've only seen the story on Shadowlands which means nothing.  I should try to find out if there is actually any history behind this.

Almost every state has a story of kids who will push a car, usually it involves railroad tracks.  A couple of them may be true I guess but since so many stories like this have sprung up I just don't know anymore.  I have a DVD set of stories of haunted places and this is on there.
