Yes there are a ton of books we all want to read and this just seemed to be a good way to share materials. Hopefully this will be a success.
Erica came up with the Cafe Press stuff. She did awesome! We still have our normal hats and shirts with our WIPS logo avaliable also. We are thinking of having Brenda help us design just a shirt for our WIPS members that is different then any of the other stuff already being sold.

Hey!
We have a WIPS libray now. Ann will hold the books and all the members of WIPS can exchange books now. That way you don't have to run out and buy everything you want to read.
Get in touch with Ann (ladybegood on this board) for a list of books we have so far. If you would like to add some to the collection that would be great also!!
We will let you check them out at each montly meeting. We have little library cards in them and every thing. They will be due back at the following meeting each time you check one out.

Well that's great! Glad to know reading isn't a lost art form ,lol , I love to read , mostly fiction , horror ,Ghosts and Supernatural , real or fiction ! I must be behind , I found a great book club and picked some out including Ghosts among us , there was Ghosts Coast to Coast ,too , bet that's the one you have Mandy ,lol , well I'll still bring mine , I;m sure we have plenty to work with

That "Ghosts Among Us " book is pretty good, Chris has it and she let me borrow it months ago.......I recently picked up the two "Haunted Chicago" books by Ursula Bielski......just to get some idea of these pictures we picked up as "door prizes" from our Rico's hunt that Carl the undertaker took on his many jaunt.... They are just photo files and I am putting them into Slide show form with labels so we know what we are looking at.

the book sounds GREAT , I can't wait to see it Mandy !
I just got one too called Ghosts Among Us: True Stories of Spirit Encounters by Leslie Rule , Her Mother is well known True Crime Author Ann Rule
It tells of specific stories across the US and actually gives addresses ! I didn't know that when I ordered it though. Lots of great black and white photos , categorized hauntings in Bed and Breakfasts , Hotels and Mansions/homes.I'll read it and bring it to the next meeting or if anyone wants to meet to exchange or pick up , that's cool too

LOL See, shouting on a message board doesn't do any good . . I was hoping you would hear my WAAAIIIITT! What do you think of the book??? We can pass around mine also, the more the merrier, right? Lisa, I'm in McHenry so I'm not that far from you at all. Book exchanges would be cool!
I'm excited about the idea of doing chats. Of course, I'm STILL unemployed, so I guess I have no opinion on a good time. LOL  Whenever!

OK - actually I already bought it, it's ok Mandy. But thank you a bunch for offering (I bought it right away, so I never would have even seen your message! :-P) But I bought it for the group - so we can pass it around as well. I just wanted it as a starting point to start checking things out from.
Also, a chat night - I'll post something up, a poll perhaps, so keep your eyes peeled. I want to find out when people want to do this, weekly - monthly, etc. and what day is best for people... so keep on the lookout for it and we'll start that up here soon.
Lisa, as far as business cards - just hang on. Pass out the fliers I gave you guys for now. I have specific business cards I want everyone to use, and I'll most likely give some out at the next meeting. I don't want variations on our cards out there, I would like things to stay uniform - so no making them yourself... sorry.  But if you need more fliers I can print some out for you - or e-mail you the template so you can print some up yourself. Cards will be coming soon for all my loyal members! Don't fret!

WAAAIIIIIITTTT!!!! LOL (can you tell I'm excited?). I HAVE THIS BOOK. It's the second one in a "series" the first one was just historic pictures around the county. I found out about this one when they were still putting it together and I was a dork who was at Border's buying it the first day it came out.
I have already read the whole book. It's good but not exactly cheap SO if you would like to borrow mine, just let me know. I honestly don't have a problem letting you read it, Lisa and Erica, as long as I know who has it when. If you want to do it this way we can meet and pass it along! Would you like to see the other book too???
I think meeting up via computer for some sort of chat would be awesome too. Some people are, I think, more comfortable talking this way than face to face. I think it would be fun anyway!!!
