Ok, Here is one of my own personal accounts. A friend of mine bought her child hood home from her step father after her mother died. This home is located in the Coventry Sub div. in Crystal Lake IL. When she was a young woman her family let her have the basement as hers. It had a bedroom, bathroom, living area and the utility room down there. It was quite nice. Well after she bought the home she moved upstairs and began renting out the downstairs. That is where I come in. I rented the basement from her and we shared the kitchen area.When I first started renting I did some painting and carpet cleaning before I moved in. Kept feeling like some one was watching me. Just chalked it up to being in a new location in the lower part of a home alone. After I moved in I would often smell a perfume. Asked my friend if she had a new perfume or air freshner. She let me smell her perfumes and none of them matched what I was smelling all the time. One day she tells me that she had kept all of her deceased mother's perfumes and toiletries. The scent I was smelling was one of her mother's favorite perfumes! (No my friend never wore that scent and never sprayed it for any reason.)Well it doesn't end there. One day I was sitting on my couch reading. The TV was turned off so I could see the reflection of the back part of the room in the TV screen. When I glanced up from reading I saw a heavy set woman standing in the back of the room behind me in the TV reflection! I quickly turned my head to see who was there and no one was standing there, however, when I looked back at the TV she was still in the reflection clear as day!!!!! All of the hairs on my neck and arms were standing straight up by now as you can imagine. I tried to stay calm and asked her to come in and sit down and told her that I can see her. I felt a cold draft move past me and saw an imprint on my love seat as if some one was sitting there! Then it dissappeared and there was no more reflection or imprint on the love seat.There are a few more tales there but I will save them for another time!Have a great dayChris

Chris, I've heard and seen lots of stories of people seeing reflections in turned off tv screens, so much so I'm afraid to look at tv's when they are off!!!   I feel the same way about glass on windows and doors and such.  Ooooh and mirrors.   I hate mirrors!   At least in your case, it sounds like it was a friendly encounter.

 

Ugh Lisa, I can't get over that you said he just happened to come across his mother's accident.  WOW.  That's terrible.  I've heard about emergency responders and emt's that are called to accidents that end up being family members or friends but never a story like yours.   

 

I want more stories!!!

HOLY SMOKES Chris !! lol , You handled that much better than I would have , I'd have bolted ! That's really is amazing !!Can't wait to hear more ! I have a story too..I was about 19 and dating a nice guy from Marengo , he was in his closet and checking out some things in there , he decided to show me his deceased mothers Stratavarius Violins , they were absolutely stunning , he put them away and we went on with our evening , he went to bed and I stayed up , I had that feeling that there was someone in the room with me , it definitely felt female and very serene , I went to go to the washroom and in the spot between where he was sleeping and the washroom was unbelievably cold , I checked for air vents , open windows , nothing was found but I still felt that there was someone there and I'm convinced it was his Mother.&nbs

No, I really wanted to pee myself when that happened!

You probably did meet his mom,especially after he showed you something very special that belonged to her. That is so horrible that he came across his mother's acident. I feel so bad for him.

Yes a sleep over would be fun,like the good ole days!

 I was told that she was the sweetest person you'd ever want to meet and she was in a VERY bad car accident , the kicker is that as the boyfriend was going home the night of the accident he came upon a horrific scene of police cars , ambulances , fire trucks , etc , he stopped to help and there was his Mother in her car !  I can only imagine how that affected him , so that's one of a few paranormal accounts that I've had , Can't wait to hear the rest of  yours and anyone else's , ok I'm thinking sleepover!! lol
