I am sorry to say our Richmond investigation for Friday 13, 2006 is off for now. The woman that owns the business sold it to someone end of Dec. However she says the new owner may be interested in doing an investigation at a later date. We just need to let the new owner get a working phone # and settle in and we will be contacting her. Keep your fingers crossed everyone that she will let us in for an investigation.Hope to see you all at the meeting 1/18/06

There is a Pub/Grill place across the street called Doyles. I have eaten there a few times. Every time I've been there I've had a strange sensation about the basement . I was unable to go down there but I sensed I wanted to . I'm pretty sure they use the basement for their banquet facilities. It might be an idea to meet and have a bite  before  hand. (?)

I do believe they give tours of the main level, but it's some odd hours from what I heard.  During the day time when everyone else in the world works pretty much, so I never made it out there.  I'll see if I can find out more sometime.  As for them closing the police station out of there, they have pretty much as it is! They hardly work out of there at this point, and I'm sure it's only a matter of time before they're gone completely from that spot.  What will go there is anyone's guess though.  I'll let you know what I can find out.

Yes we were excited about this one coming back too!

Lisa if you come up with anything new on the history let Ann know right away. She is the Case Administrator and will be compiling all of that information. But drop Erica or I a line also if something really cool surfaces.

Carol you are funny New equipment is fun. I want to get the same thing you just bought. You will have fun with it that is for sure!

I have not heard the rumor about the Stickney Mansion but it is a good one! Maybe if the cops are out of there they will allow private tours.. we will have to keep watching for an update on that situation.

Wooo-hoooo! I was sooo bummed when this one got cancelled. Now, I've got a new piece of equipment..a Sony Handycam with Night-Shot..and I've got a ir source to widen the nightshot view. Oh boy!

That's GREAT news!!  I can start researching that one again ! a Heads up, don't bother with Richmonds library , it's not big on a history section , it's fine for anything else though

Yay !! I'm excited about this one too I'm guessing the Hebron one is dead in the water !  Maybe someday we can get in there , I had a really intense feeling about that one , like it was going to be amazing ! Many more opportunities will come our way so we'll see.

I heard a RUMOR that the Bull Valley Stickney house is VERY active and that they are closing the cop shop , I also heard you can get in there now for tours , probably just that , a rumor but maybe worth checking into ?

Good news!!!. We are working on getting into that Richmond location again!!! I went and met with the new owner a few weeks ago. Very nice lady and she is open to an investigation there still. We will be keeping you all updated on the staus of that potential investigation date as we know more!!!

Oh no!!!!  That's a disappointment!!!!    I'm really sorry to everyone who was scheduled to go on this one.  And I thought it would be so exciting, it being Friday the 13th and all!!!!  Awww I hope it can still be done in the future!  I'll talk to you all next week!
