Had our private investigation 06/09/07 in Kenosha. Evidence not fully reviewed yet. Seemed to be quite and nothing out of the ordinary happened while we were there. Nothing paranormal jumped out at us. Once the eveidence is fully reviewed we will make our final assesment and present it to the homeowner.
For those of you going on the Hannah House trip later this month.. If you have any questions regarding this investigation or location please forward them to me. I will be in contact with the PR director there later this week with my questions.
Ann and I will be going for our walk thru at the Elsing 2nd hand store in Soughton on 07/08/07. We will evaluate what kinds of equipment this investigation will warrant and how to set up our rotation for that investigation. Reminder to paid investigator members, this investigation is open to all paid WIPS members. There is no charge for this location and it is considered a private investigation as only WIPS team members will attend. The date we have set is Saturday August 18, 2007. Please if you have not responded to my first request, let me know if you will be able to make this investigation please.
Introduced the Ashmore Estates location in Ashmore Illinois. I have been in contact with the owner of this location and we are working on setting up a date for an investigation. The month of September and October are not avaliable. They run a haunted house in this location during the fall. The month of September is their building month and then October they run the haunted house. So we are thinking this spring will be a better choice. I was told by the owner August is mostly college kids booking the place for their parties. The winter will be too cold to be there. The windows are all broken out and the roof has some leaky spots. I am shooting for a date in March and will let you know more as the time draws near. The cost is $70 per person and we need a 10 person minimum to rent the building for ourselves for a 12 hour night.
We have scheduled our new cemetery date for August 4,2007. The location is still to be determined and may not be the evening. Our Wisconsin cemetery location may be a no go. I am still waiting for word on that.
The meeting for July is scheduled for 07/25/07 Wednesday night, Panera Bread in Fox River Grove. 7-9pm. August meeting is not confirmed yet but we are shooting for a Saturday meeting at my house on 08/25/07. That will be firmed up in the next few weeks.
WIPS fundraising garage sale is 07/14/07. I sent a previous email requesting volunteers to help set up and run the sale. If you volunteer you do not have to do both but please try to help in any way you can. We need you to gather your items you would like to sell and put prices on them as well before you drop them off. Email me and let me know if you will have items for the sale and/or like to volunteer.
September will be our WIPS 2 year anniversary!!!!! Shoot me some ideas on things you would like to see our group do for our anniversary! Let's try to find something fun to do, or a cool place to meet up.
Debbie C volunteered to do next months meeting topic. Please if you have not done a topic, pick one and let me know what month you would like to present yours. Remember the month of December we will probably not have a monthly meeting.
We have had a couple of very generous contributors to WIPS lately. Erving Moreles donated some equipment. Jeni Heyden donated a large cash donation. Yay!!!!
With our treasury we would like to look into making some equipment purchases. We would like to get your feedback as to what equipment you would like our group to have for WIPS investigations. With that said, I know we all want a thermal imaging camera. This piece of equipment is VERY expensive and I do not anticipate our treasury will support a purchase that hefty.
So if any of you have the money to buy one for the group to use feel free to make that purchase for us, LOL!
I talked to Troy Taylor about doing a private investigation at the Lincoln Theater in Decatur. He has no way to fit a private investigation into his schedule for this type of investigation at this time. Troy advised me to check back on his tour dates and the next time he has a Lincoln Theater date to get us all to sign up right away. He tells me that he normally has no more then 30 people on these investigations.
Some of us have talked about doing something nice for our service men and women. We would like to go through the adopt a platoon member fighting in the war. What this entails is sending a care package to this service person each month for the time that they are deployed. I have a list of items allowed through customs. In addition to that we would be assigned a specific individual and we would get a small interview sheet from him/her with some things they would like or need. Also if they had access to a computer or walkman etc. If you are intersted in participating in this program please let me know. Set aside all of your own political views on the war and please support the people that will go to the extremes for us and our country.
Iamhaunted was hacked into a few months ago. We had a page but it was killed in the attack. I have not had time to set up a new page yet, but I will soon.
