Notes from the 03/24/07 meeting
Hello everyone!!!

What a great Sat evening meeting we had!!! Good show of people!
Good to finally meet Brenda LaCourciere our newest member!! WELCOME!
Nice to see a few visitors as well! Welcome to Scott and Lyle! Hope to see you both at future meetings.
Wanted to say thank you to all that brought food to pass around for a very nice dinner. Amy your lasagna ROCKS!!! I can't wait for the Sat meeting in May just for the food alone!

OK down to the business:
Future meeting dates are: Wednesday, April 18, 2007 at Panera Bread in Fox River Grove. 7-9pm. Then Saturday, May 19, 2007 from 5pm-? in Harvard at my house again!
Please try very hard to make the meeting in May if you can. We will be working on some important training during this meeting.
Memberships are due NOW for the year 2007 if you want to be a part of any private investigations coming up. First year members -$40 and renewing members are now $25.
Had paid investigative members write up biographies for the web page. If you are a paid member and have not sent us a biography for the web page, I need one ASAP!! We will also need to take a picture of you for the web site as well! Send the biography to me either on a word document or email it to me so I can put it on a word document.
People have asked if they can be in other Ghost Hunter/ Paranormal Groups. The answer is yes, in a nut shell. We have a privacy agreement for all paid and hobbyist members regarding the use of the WIPS name and printed materials. You will need to review it, sign it and return it to me at the next meeting you attend. See attachment.
Brenda A did her topic and how the weather effects a haunting. Thank you Brenda for your time and effort put forth on that!
We talked briefly about starting a small technical group. There are some interested parties so we will talk again in the very near future about what the technical group will be expected to do and what the team expectations are from a technical team.
Talked about our advertisement for the Haunted Times Magazine. We seem to have come to a final version of the advertisement and what it should look like and what it should say. We are very excited about this!!! We are hoping to get our ad published in their summer or fall magazine.
With the advertisement being placed soon we MUST update the web page!!!!! EVERYONE please submit your personal experiences, EVPS, good photos from all group outings or private investigations we have been on! Please work on a write up of these things that include the date, time if you have it, weather conditions if you know, the location/place and what equipment was used to get the evidence. We need these things to make our website credible!!! Give us any ideas you have for the website please. Let's make OUR group look as great as we really are!
Hannah House-Indianapolis IN. I have talked to the people there, we can have our own date to reserve the entire place!!!! Need to have 15 people at $50 a person. This will be limited 1st to WIPS paid members, then to WIPS hobbyist members and then to CPI members. At this time no friends or spouses. If we do not fill the required 15 then we can open the hunt to others. The maximum we can have at this location is 20. Once the date is secured I will let all of you know the details. IE:when money due,the date, who is going, etc. Since the hunt would be on a Sat night we thought it would be fun to go to the medical museum during the day on Sat. This is on the grounds of the Central State Hospital(closed hospital for the mentally insane). Not sure if we can get access to the closed parts of the property but we can ask around!
Suggestions welcome for small inexpensive group outings. Any cemeteries you want to see? Haunted restaurants you want to go to? Few suggestions for dining were The Stage Stop restaurant in Wilmot IL or Meson Sabika Restaurant in Naperville. So if any one wants to go ahead and organize the dinner dates on those let me know!!! Any one to volunteer help setting up the dates and locations for some of these kind of outings would be a great help!!
Thank you to Lyle, our visitor, for presenting a very nice collection of EVP's and letting us keep a copy!
Ghost hunting 101 date was cancelled due to most not being able to attend that date. Future date to be announced or we may just train you as we go! Not sure yet

In the April Meeting Mark D will present a topic on Demons and Jen B will present a topic on Poltergeists.
So I think that was it, if I missed any important points please let me know!! Please remember to RSVP to the meetings!
Happy ghost hunting to all!
Hope to see you all on April 18th!!
Sincerly,
Chris and Ann B.
