I had told my co-workers a long time ago that the Opera House was a no-go for us. Then the whole group investigating it this year thing was in the paper and my co-workers were like "but I thought you said they didn't do that." So we thought, right?  *shrugs*

We could try the donation approach. Like Rhode opera house maybe charge $25 per head and donate that to the fund. Maybe they would let us in for 3 hours with a superviser or something to do our investigating...

Yeah, we get the same attitude at the Woodstock opera house...."We're not haunted" but then this year on halloween they had a ghost hunter group in there for the morning talk show....

You know, the dummies want money to restore the place - yet they won't let anybody in...
I think if they opened up for even occasional tours or something they would start getting some funding like they'd like. They certainly do give off mixed signals about the hauntings too. If you ask them about it - it's all hush hush and they have no idea what you're talking about, or it's simply not haunted. Then they let the Herald print stuff like this. Hm.... Pick a side and stick to it. I'd love to go in, but anytime I've asked and it's ghost related, it's been denied. Maybe it'll change this time around since it's in the paper. They said they WANT ghost hunters there essentially. Year Round not just at Halloween... I say give it a go guys. See if we can set something up. Then if they say no - just reply "BUT YOU SAID!!!" LOL
I'd go. I'd love to see it for myself, only been outside the place myself.

Doug and I were at the Stickney site in Bull Valley twice for a horse rescue meeting, we did see or feel anything. We sat in the meeting room and I kept looking around, I did not even feel anything, so either we did not get lucky to see anything or the ghosts wanted us to have our meeting in peace. Now I am not saying that there is nothing there, but I wish we had witnessed something or even to get a feeling( sometimes I do) while we were there. I hope to get there again.

Thanks for posting that Mandy! My Mom's best friend actually sent me the article by snail-mail, she knew Chris and I are interested it this kind of thing. I hadn't had a chance to look it up and post it yet!
I WILL Get in there one day! I would not even mind staying the night!
