I keep finding all these newspaper articles about paranormal groups. Just out of curiosity, has W-I-P-S ever been in print? NOT that anyone here is doing this just for the purposes of getting famous. Just wondering.10/20/2007- The former Clovis haunted house is the destination for an internet-based research group. And whether you believe in ghosts or not, this group doesn't care. The infamous mansion on Clovis Avenue is also a mini-production studio this weekend as a Bay Area paranormal research group tries to capture voices and apparitions while streaming the search live on the internet.Tim Wood, Investigation Producer, says "What we do is completely unedited, and we go out to show what it is, if stuff happens, if we're lucky enough to experience that and our fans are lucky enough to experience, that's great. But there's going to be times we go out to places and nothing happens."Donna Raymond, Paranormal Investigator & Sensitive, says "I'm expecting to hear bangs, I'm expecting to be touched, I'm expecting to hear voices, and I'm expecting apparitions to come out."Investigator Donna Raymond says this is one of the few places that always has activity and wears protective crystals around her neck after she says two spirits followed her home. "There are so many spirits here, there are at least over 22 spirits here that roam these halls, that used to be residents here, when it used to be the asylum, and never left."The group uses tools to register changes in temperature and electricity along with cable to broadcast to thousands of viewers from as far as Australia who can email investigators during the investigation.Donna is also what's called a sensitive, and says she was born with the ability to tell if a spirit's in a room including during our interview. "Over in Mary's room, she was there. She's been there. There's a man in the back who's here right now, coming up the stairs, I felt someone up the stairs. These are things that have been that have been going on."Read into it what you want, but during our previous interview, Mary's room was the only place we had our own audio problems. "There are spirits that are threatening the people that live there, we're going to try to do what we can make the activity occur," says Wood.Todd Wolfe, Mansion Owner, says "There's been people walk in who say, we don't believe in this, we just want to have fun on the tour. When they leave, they're completely convinced something's in here."And the group welcomes skeptics, like Jim Sternieri, who stopped by with his son. "It's always interesting to watch to see if they can prove it- we're always watching that show, there always looking for them, but they never find anything, nothing you can put your finger on."
