I know I'd sent the information the photographer gave me and forwarded it, I just can't remember to whom in the group I sent it!  Uh oh, I've always heard that the mind is the second thing to go when you get old!

I do remember her saying that it wasn't raining or anything, that it was a clear night outside, and she didn't see anything anomalous in the picture.  She has tried to follow as many protocols as possible (she has seen a lot of the ghost hunter websites).

LOL, Erica, those are exactly the same questions I posed when I e-mailed Mark back--He was not there so he will have to get the info from the photographer.

I can't say for sure... no idea under what conditions this was taken.  It looks "spring" out, so the first things that pop to mind are rain and bug.  Bug is probably my first bet though - but then it could be rain because of the ROYGIV it's picking up from the flash I'm assuming - creating a holographic effect as it's moving.   I'll blow it up and take a gander in photoshop later see if I can figure it out there.  Something "falling" off a tree like a bud or something?  At work I don't have a ton of "technical" ability to analyze this, but simply adjusting the brightness and contrast a bit, you can see a bunch of other white nards on the ground - what kind of trees are around or plants that this could maybe blow off of?  There's one really bright one in the background towards the right that is super bright considering the rest.  Don't know...

Any data to follow up with this one would be swell if you have it. Conditions, etc.

And hey, is that an owl on the log in the background to the left of the slide?  I can't tell but it looks like one! Ha ha, for you Mandy! I know how you love the owls.  Really don't know if it is or not, but it looks like one in my little MS Picture Manager program (yes that is all I have at work... so depressing for film types like myself)...

I'd love to hear some more opinions.

So what do you more technically minded people think of this picture?
