I actually found a place selling all the episodes on 9 dvds, but I don't think I really want to pay $95. It would be fun to watch them again, but for that kind of cash, I could go pick up a used vhs copy of Lonely in America and Cyber Vengeance to add to my D-Ro collection.

The one where they were at that camp and the one person had to be buried alive and another member had to go out there silent and throw dirt on top of the coffin was way too much.
The spider episode I think was also the one where they had to mess around with the sacred idols or something on the indian burial ground in that one place. It's been forever since that show was on and they never did put it on dvd, except for a clips dvd. If they completed all the dares they got $5,000.

I did watch a few episodes of the first season and finished watching it shortly after. There were a few dares though that I don't know that I could have done... so props to the kids who had to go through it! Wasn't it for like $1000 or something... I don't know if some of it was worth that little, but hey - teens will jump at it I guess. You know, spending a couple of hours in one of the mortuary "cubbies" in the wall.... no way. What are those things called, I'm having a brain fart and can't think... There was one with spiders, but me being afraid of spiders, was so traumatized I can't even remember.... It was along the lines of Scariest Places on Earth to me, with the screaming idiots though and it aggrivated me so I could no longer watch. Great places to go though, so I ended up watching both solely for the locations!! In hopes something real might come up. From that one event at Waverly Hills though, it's hard to believe what any of these shows put out there, which disappoints me to no end.

The old MTV show Fear was mentioned in another thread . . and I was actually typing a post about it 3 or 4 days ago when my stupid internet connection failed me! Anyway, I do remember this show and I think I saw every episode. If I remember right, I thought the first couple episodes were really good, thenI wanted to stop watching because I didn't agree with a lot of the dare type things they were making the kids do. You know, I actually DID STOP watching it at some point. I remember them doing Eastern State Pen though. Hmmm any other thoughts on this?
I personally love the show in the early run and thought it was really cool. The only problem with reality shows like that one, is things can easily be set up. I always like the Moundsville State Penn with The Sugar Shack. Yeah, some of the dares were lame and some were kind of going overboard, especially seeing if something went wrong. IE: Where they made the one climb to the top of this crane area or something like that, put a rope around his neck and push off a concrete block that was tied to the other end of the rope. He was supposed to simulate the hanging of the spirit that remained there. They did have some good footage of some really cool places, so I give them props for that. Only the Mexican Mine one went unfinished twice due to everyone quitting. I would watch it again though if they ever tried resurrecting it.
