I looked for your toy line, I have no idea what you are talking about and found nothing that matches it either. Sorry......Don't like the Smurf thing!!!!!!!I am either Stanky Smurf or Ichabod Smurf depending on if you go with my formal name or short name.

"I am so smart, I am so smart, S-M-R-T.  I mean S-M-A-R-T."

Just found the toy line.  It was Blackstar!  They still look sweet!

Yeah, I say no to Ghostbusters 3 unless it stars our very own Ghostbuster Derek Arneson. I wonder how his sketch cards are doing right now.

Skeletor was cool, Hordak was creepy. I never owned Panthor.

If any of you recall that toy line, please let me know, it's driving me crazy, and I don't think I own any of them anymore.

And Finally, remember Erica, Pimpin' Ain't Easy.

I never watched Hee-Man that much cuz I was afraid of Skeletor!!!! Fun stuff though! Ghostbusters was my fave movie back then. The first album I ever bought myself was Thriller. Did anyone watch I Love the 80's on VH1??? I was LMAO for a lot of it. Like they were hinting about Hee-man's preferences and showed scenes that looked SO bad but we never would have thought of it back then. And they did a segment using "smurf" as a verb to replace a certain 4 letter word. SO funny! Smurfed, smurfing, etc. LOL. Okay, back to 2006. *sigh**sings badly* "I want my MTV"

Skeletor ROCKED!  I loved his cat better than stupid "Battle Cat"... I think his name was PANTHOR.    And no way He Man was gay... he was all muscle man...    eeewww  he looked like a nasty Arnold Schwarzenager (SP?) from Conan or whatever he was in when he was huge and really ugly.   Did you ever see the horrible movie they did?  Blah

Do you know I heard they finally broke down and Dan Akroyd at least will be doing a Ghostbusters 3... feelings on this?  I say let it be, no more please... what are your thoughts?  OH - who watched the cartoon in the 80's????  I LOVED Ghostbusters the cartoon, and totally dug slimer!!!  Peter's voice was also Garfield's from the cartoons!! I always laughed at that.

Do you remember another line of action figures like He-man, but they were different. I almost want to say they were like Greek Gods or something related to Olympus or Mythology. I recall having several of them. I do remember one was Neptune. It's been driving me crazy, because I want to look up more information about them and have no clue what to search. All my searches have come up empty so far.
That sounds vaguely familiar to me and I recall somewhat what Neptune looks like if I remember right... but I never had any... nor do I even have a clue where to find them or what to call them... E-Bay???

LOL...My name is Trusty Smurf

Well, if I use my full first name which I never go by I am Igneous Smurf.

If I use the name my mom calls me frequently when talking to others about me I would be Phlegmy Smurf. No wonder why I hate being called that besides it sounds like you are talking about a 5 year old.

Anyways....

Seeing I never use my full name and don't call me that other crappy version of my name, my Smurf name is........... Hannibal Smurf! What a perfect name for me!

I did check up our good buddy Kathy and she is.... get this..... EROTIC SMURF lol

I never caught any of the new stuff or any of the new adventure crap that came after the original.

Maybe you can recall seeing you collected MOTU.

Ok also a question that is somewhat back on topic. What did everyone think of the Friday the 13th movie series? Personally I thought it wasn't very good, I went through the entire series this halloween and I have to say I didn't care for the "complete series". Now Halloween is a different story, that movie I loved the series. Nightmare wasn't bad either.

They re-released a new show also, but the characters seemed lame to me... I actually pulled it up on TiVo the other day but since it was the 2002 version I just skipped altogether.... not the same if you ask me...

Teela was hot for He-Man....

I think Evil-Lyn was pretty hot for He-Man too....

When I was a kid I never really thought about it, but now I wonder what was up with the certain characters. I mean I can understand Beast Man, Mer-Man, but Moss Man? A guy covered in Moss? Well, I guess he would be equal to Swamp Thing. I also always loved Webstor because he had the grappling hook on his back.

I kind of wish I would have bought the recent re-release of the action figures. Too bad the decided to stop the line before making all the old greats.

I dug "Orco"... by far my fav! I had Castle Grayskull and everything!! Don't have it anymore though....

I had Grayskull, Snake Mountain, and Hordak's Lair. Never got Eternia due to the price.

Lil O was cool, but I think I liked Kobra Khan and Snout Spout more seeing they squirt water. Rio Blast was cool also with all the hidden guns. Man, this brings back the good old memories. I actually think I have King Randor here in my Hornets Foot Locker. Teela was such a hottie. lol

Hell yeah, MOTU, now that's what I'm talkin' bout.  I actually still have all the action figures at my Dad and Step-mom's in the attic.  I never did get the sorceress though.    I bought Clamp Champ instead.

I loved it when I used to play Ridic on Talk City and the MOTU category came up.  I just typed like a mad man to get the answers in first and usually the person who entered the category messed up a spelling so I didn't get a point.

Hmmm, I was one year old and Janis Joplin was in the top 40 charts...Funny thing is her birthday is the same as mine except for the year...MTV came out when I was 11, and man I was glued to the big console TV set to watch it! Still had to manually change the channels on that TV. I feel a tad bit older then I should right about now.. JAWS came out when I was 5 And Star Wars when I was 7. I remember going to the movies to see Star Wars and it was such a BIG deal!!  That and roller skating

That was cute, thanks!!

I was 9 in 1987! Although I think at that time I was watching a lot of Super Mario Bros. cartoons.

Well, that can't be your excuse, seeing the show was on Saturday nights from either 8-9 or 9-10.

Not to get this thread off topic, but I loved watching The Smurfs, Shirt Tails, etc.

Maybe it was that show that set me on a path of darkness seeing I believe I was around 10 when the show first started (1987). It's kind of funny though, seeing I never really was a huge fan of horror movies until a couple years ago, now I've started to warp my mind with all the greats from the past.

I'll have to put it on my TiVo wish list and see if it'll pop up for me someday! Hail the almighty TiVo! *** Hail, Hail ***

There is always that chance that Sci-Fi will have some of the episodes on again like they have done with other shows in the past like V one of my all time favorite Sci-Fi series.
