I started watching this show a week or so ago called "America's Psychic Challenge" - I think it's on the Lifetime network. They take people who consider themselves psychic in various forms and put them to some challenges to find out who is considered the most "gifted" among the chosen. I have to say I am very skeptical to psychic gifts but believe they exist, which is what keeps me watching.I admit I've been pleasantly surprised by a few of these people, some I still think are crack-pots. Of the couple shows I've watched, I've seen a psychic match up five owners to their dogs (a one in 250 shot they said to match them accurately - though the psychic's final choices were only 3 in 5, but I was still impressed by her initial reactions being correct). Psychics describing quite vividly with accurate descriptions of names and times of the death location of Janis Joplin (though they had no prior knowledge of where they were going). One was so on, she even matched up the name quite closely as well as the time, position of the body, what caused the death, etc. I've seen them set loose in a car lot to find someone stuffed in the trunk of a particular car - one psychic had premonitions before hand and went directly to the car in just a matter of a couple minutes- out of I believe 30 cars. That's just a few of the instances. My eyes have been opened by it and I'm Tivo-ing it now to make sure I see what other creative tests they put these guys to. I'd love to see the final outcome as well.It's certainly interesting, and I'd love you guys to check it out if you can. Also I'd love to hear some input from those who've seen it.
