Amy - we are going to all meet up at the Kinkos again. Mike said he cleared it so we should be able to keep the excess vehicles there overnight. So same place we met for the flyers.

I don't mind car pooling but I also don't mind leaving my van at the gas station. I was just thinking of the fact that I have a more direct path home if I drive down. The timing is cool. I can also be the one hauling down- the van can hold 6 people. I really have no problem doing it any way. Let me know what you think.

OK everyone, here's the deal...
You all know that Manteno is "no trespassing" correct? We need to be as inconspicuous as possible. I'm limiting the group to 10 people. I'm going to list below, those that I know are planning to go at this point. Also, we can't be having everyone just show up at Manteno with their own cars. This is going to create some pretty big problems as we have to "hide" cars. If everyone brings their cars, that's 10 of us and 10 of the Wisconsin group at least... so 20 cars??? That's not too easy to hide. So help me out on this one. We need to carpool as much as possible. We are leaving from our area very late, so that should give most people time to clear up matters in order to be out of there on time. As far as leaving early, I don't think many of us were planning on staying too long. It is a small place and a lot of people will be there if we get 20 people all together. So we may stick around until 3 or 4, so Amy do you think that is good enough to get out in time for you to get back home? Let me know what you think - we might be able to come up with another solution if that won't work. We'll be getting there around 10 pm, so that should give us many hours of rollicking fun at Manteno, even if we do have some people that leave a bit earlier. I have one member, Joe, who wants to meet us down there - but that is simply because he is way south of us and it would be absolutely redundant for him to come up to meet us only to drive south again. Let's try to get as many of us together as possible. If this won't work for you, let me know and e-mail me personally, don't post it here. I want to be sure we get all of the logistics worked out. Thanks for your help guys...

The time for our new trip is set...
We will be meeting at the Kinkos parking lot in Crystal Lake (near the Barnes and Noble, Pier One Imports - in front of Target). We can carpool or caravan - whatever we decide when we see how many of us there are. So far I only know of a few people coming. Please let me know if you are coming for sure. I will also e-mail the group with the date and time as well.
We will meet at 8 pm to allow everyone who works time to settle down a bit, get some dinner in them, and take care of anything that needs to be done. We will leave Kinkos promptly at 8 - so be there a few minutes early. At least one group member will meet us down at Manteno, where we will also meet up with our WI buddies. Leaving at 8 also gives us some hope that we will miss rush hour / Friday night / Holiday weekend traffic on I-90 which will have a huge lane shortage and will suck big time. Hopefully we can miss some of that this way. That should put us at Manteno around 10, pack all your gear and let's go investigate!

What time were you guys wanting to be down there? I will also ask at the meeting tonight, but were you all wanting to leave right after work time or do you want to go home, rest a bit, then head down later? I need to know so we can tell the SWPRG group what time we'll be there. Some of that team will be there with us, and we need to coordinate. Le'mme know.
